Assuming you have already spoken with any other persons with an interest in your property, you could choose to speak to either a builder or building designer first. Our process provides opportunity for you develop a relationship with both a builder and a designer at the same time. This will help you to develop a scope that also fits within your preferred budget.

 

We offer an initial free consultation at our office. This is followed by a ballpark estimate.

The consultation gives you the client and we the builders the chance to meet each other, decide if there is a fit between our service and your needs and the opportunity for us to collect information about your project. The ballpark estimate is a feasibility tool for you to use to decide whether or not your project will be viable.

Once the design stage is complete, we are then able to provide you with a ‘fixed price, guaranteed no more to pay’ estimate for your project. This service does attract a fee and will involve some homework on your part, but it will guarantee that the cost is fixed and will not vary unless you change your mind or there is a challenge that was not reasonably foreseen by our estimator.

 

 

We occasionally build new homes if we feel there is a good match between ourselves and the client, and if we find an interest in the project. We prefer to build new housing that meets our minimum criteria for energy efficiency and sustainable design.

 

 

We don't like to quote square meter rates because every job is different and each project presents different challenges. The cost of the work also depends on the quality of the inclusions and the size of the job.

 

 

Remodelling work can be very dusty and noisy. In many cases you may be able to live in the house while the work is done however it is much easier for your family and the builder if the house is unoccupied. Our Relaxed Renovations package provides options for alternative accommodation if you are stuck for a place to escape for a while.
